Welcome my magickal friend! Today we’re going to do a meditation to help create change for justice.

This meditation is to help you create change in your life to fight for justice. There needs to be big changes made in this world and it starts with us. We need to choose to change and fight for the justice needed for all people to have equitable opportunities.

Establishing the breath

Find a comfortable sitting position where your spine can be elongated and your body relaxed. Take a deep breath in and hold it for 3 seconds. Then breathe all the way out to a count of 5. Breathe in through your nose, filling your lungs with oxygen, and breathe out through your mouth feeling your diaphragm contract.

Continue to breathe in and out, focusing on the breath and how the air feels entering your body, and then exiting your body. You feel yourself relaxing, however you remain alert and aware of your body.

Building a connection to the Earth

As you become more relaxed, feel the earth beneath you. Feel its sturdiness, its ability to support you and all life on the planet. Your connection to the earth deepens as you send your senses down through your body, then into the earth beneath your feet.

You feel the warmth of the earth as you rest upon it. There is a connection through the earth to all life upon it. That bond strengthens with each beating of your heart. Your heartbeat synchronizes with the pulse of the earth and you feel that pull link your energy with the earth.

Clearing the chakras

Root Chakra

Once you feel fully connected with the earth, you then draw that energy up through your feet. First, you feel it fill your root chakra, where your strength and connection to the earth resides. The energy starts spinning into a vibrant red ball of light. The light fills your root chakra until there’s a brilliant red glow in your pelvic area.

Sacral Chakra

Second, the energy starts to fill your sacral chakra, right below your navel. The energy starts spinning into a ball of orange light. You feel your creativity spark as you tap into this energy. The light fills your sacral chakra until there is a bright orange glow in your abdomen.

Solar Plexus Chakra

Next, the energy starts to fill your solar plexus chakra, where your stomach and diaphragm are. You see in your mind’s eye the energy starts spinning into a great ball of yellow golden light. You feel your power center ignite as you embrace the energy you’re receiving. The light fills your solar plexus chakra until there is a fiery yellow glow in your stomach.

Heart Chakra

After that, the energy starts to fill your heart chakra, in the middle of your chest. You feel it start to spin into a brilliant ball of green energy. You feel a connection to all living things within your heart. The light fills your heart chakra until there is a fierce green glow coming from your heart.

Throat Chakra

Fifth, the energy starts to fill your throat chakra, where your neck and mouth are. It starts to spin into a brilliant ball of blue light. Your voice starts to grow as your soul speaks its truths. The light fills your throat chakra until there is a bright blue glow shining from your throat area.

Third Eye Chakra

Next, the energy starts to fill your third eye chakra, in the middle of your forehead. The energy starts to spin into a vibrant indigo ball of light. You feel your third eye open as the mysteries of the universe reveal themselves to you. The light fills your third eye chakra until there is an iridescent indigo glow coming from your forehead.

Crown Chakra

Finally, the energy starts to fill your crown chakra, at the top of your head. You feel it start to spin into a radiant ball of violet light. Your connection to the Divine Spirit is reaffirmed as you feel the entirety of the cosmos rejoice as you link to the constancy of the universe. The light fills your crown chakra until there is a luminescent violet glow coming from the top of your head.

Connecting to your inner warrior

Now that your chakras have been cleared and renewed with earth energy, you turn inward. Go deep into the space where your power center lies and there you will find your inner warrior. They may be resting or asleep, or quietly waiting to be called forth to action.

What does your warrior look like? Do they have armor? Do they carry any weapons? If so, what weapons do they hold? Are they loud and energized, or quiet and steady? Do they have an animal totem by their side?

Then you are standing face to face with your inner warrior. Tell them about the change you wish to make, the battle you wish to fight. See their resolve to pursue this challenge. You feel linked to their energy and will to see this change come to fruition.

Channeling warrior energy

This link begins to grow and you feel yourself melt into your inner warrior, but the process is not painful as you merge with their consciousness. You now see through their eyes and feel their energy.

The energy to move and to act is strong. You are filled with the desire to create the change that is needed to seek justice for your issue. What do you need to know from your inner warrior to start that change? Focus on your questions, then ask your inner warrior.

Sparking change

Your inner warrior now shows you the way forward. Your next steps are clear and the path has been laid out for you. From here, you see where the change starts.

Take your inner warrior’s answers and see them manifest before you. Then take these visions and turn them into energy. That energy builds until it becomes a bright fiery ball of light that leads your way forward. You take this ball of energy and then set it inside your soul as your energy source for the change you need to make.

Now, you separate yourself from your inner warrior. Then turn and thank them for helping you on your path. Know, however, that they will always be here to help you take action for justice and change.

Coming back to the breath

As we conclude, turn your attention back to your body. Feel the breath again as it enters and then exits your body. Feel your chest rise and then fall as the air comes in and out. Breathe in deeply and hold it for 3 seconds. Then breathe out to a count of 5. Continue this breathing for another few moments. Then when you feel ready, take a breath in and on the exhale, open your eyes.

Reflection

Once you have come back to your body, think about your experience with your inner warrior. What advice and guidance did they give you for moving forward? Where can they help you create change? What answers did they give you for your questions?

Take a moment to reflect on your journey. Feel free to write down anything from your experience that you wish to take forward with you. Then think about the change you wish to see in your life and in the world. How can you be a part of that change?

Ways to make change

There is a lot of change that needs to be made in the world today. Fighting for justice and change comes in many different forms. You can join peaceful protests, donate to causes that align with your values, or seek to educate yourself and others on the issues at hand. Take responsibility for your part in this movement and then create the change.

Remember, you are not alone in this. We are all in it together.

Until next time my magickal friend, be well and choose joy!
